FYI Terms & Conditions Key Updates
FYI Terms and Conditions
The key changes to the terms and conditions have been outlined below, however, please visit fyi.app to review the updated Terms and Conditions.
Key changes:
- Artificial Intelligence: FYI use AI tools (currently only available to Elite Plan subscribers) to analyse your data, generate content and interact with users to deliver and improve services within FYI. Organisations are responsible for their data inputs into FYI which AI then uses to suggest outputs. AI outputs may be inaccurate, and whilst reasonable safeguards are in place, users must review AI-generated outputs before acting on them.
- Our Refund Policy: Incorporates updated Australian Consumer Law terms regarding refunds for major failures of the service either by way of cancelling a service contract or refunding an unused portion.
- Third Party Supplies – Pass Through Terms: FYI utilise third-party suppliers to which their terms, warranties and indemnities apply. FYI do not accept responsibility for their actions, omissions, intellectual property or any resulting liability. For remedy of any issues, organisations must refer to the Third Party Supplier’s terms and conditions for resolution.
- Privacy and Confidentiality: An additional clause has been added regarding ‘Breach of Personal Information’ and the steps taken to protect your personal information. In the event of a serious breach, it outlines what steps are taken to notify you and the relevant authority.
- Contacting Us: Incorporates updated Privacy law requirements regarding access or correction of personal information, opt out of direct marketing, raise privacy concerns or how to make a complaint to an authorised Privacy body.
We encourage you to read the updated Terms and Conditions in full on our website.
