A process is a collection of activities or steps that must be completed in a particular sequence to deliver a service or end result. For examples you can refer to our Automations Library for common accounting practice processes.

Our Starter Package has specified processes that we will create for you in your FYI platform, these are as follows:

• Onboard a New Client
• Overdue Jobs Reminder
• Practice Activity Alerts
• Send a Bulk Email to all Clients
• Auto-Archive Documents

Our Build Only and Map & Build packages are to build a single business process, such as onboarding a new client, year-end compliance job or send an income tax return checklist for ideas you can refer to our Automations Library for common accounting practice processes.

These packages are designed to start with a single process to help you get up and running quickly with the Automation Engine and we encourage you to start with a single process to begin with such as year-end compliance or similar that will have the most benefit to your practice.

We can then scope your requirements if you have multiple processes you’d like to automate from there.

This service does not include creating any Templates, Custom Views or updating any data related items.

Our consultants will identify where and if these are required to best setup your automations and make recommendations accordingly for you to resource and action for the automation to run optimally and discuss this with you as part of your project.

All packages require knowledge of the Automation Engine in FYI, to get the most out of your time with your consultant and automations we require the Learn Course: Getting Started with Automations to be completed. These packages do not provide fundamental training on Automations.

The Starter Package is best for those that understand the fundamentals of Automations but need some assistance to get up and running with a few basic but fundamental processes in their platform. Your consultant will import the specified pre-made processes per the package details and provide you with training to cover each process and what they will do for your practice.

The Build for Me Package is for those that understand the fundamentals and have mapped or documented all the process steps, triggers and requirements and just don’t have the resources to build the process into their FYI platform. This package requires a completed process map or document for your consultant to review and scope with you before then completing the build in your platform. A 30-minute training session will then be held to run you through your new process with next steps for testing and activation.

The Map & Build Package is for those that understand the fundamentals but do not have the resources to map or build the process into their FYI platform. This package includes a scoping and mapping session with your consultant to document all the process steps, triggers and requirements which is then built as an automation into your platform. A 30-minute training session will then be held to run you through your new process with next steps for testing and activation.
