XPM User Synchronisation Changes and What It Means for Your Practice

For practices integrated with Xero Practice Manager (XPM), recent changes to Xero’s API now synchronises Users from both XPM and Xero to FYI.

What does this mean for FYI users?

To ensure streamlined management of your User List in FYI, we have made the default synchronisation setting for New Users “Inactive“. Refer to Practice Settings General.

What do you need to do?

We recommend that an FYI Admin review your User List to ensure only those who require access to FYI are marked as active.

Announcing Non-Proportional WIP Allocation

We’re excited to announce that the Non-Proportional WIP Allocation feature is now available for all Elite practices using FYI as the Practice Management source.

What does this mean for FYI users?

  • Manually allocate WIP line-by-line
  • Accurate performance reporting
  • System Write On/Off
  • Group WIP entries by user
  • Use formulas to calculate WIP values

Who is this available for?

Non-Proportional WIP Allocation is available now for all practices on the Elite plan where FYI is the Practice Management source.

To access the feature, users must be an FYI Admin or assigned to a User Group with the Create Invoices and Edit Timesheets permission enabled.

FYI is excited to announce a new integration with AMLCC, a leading UK platform that streamlines AML compliance, risk management, and staff training for accounting firms.

What does this mean for FYI Users?

With this integration, practices can seamlessly sync client and contact data from FYI. Users can add new clients individually or import all unsynchronised clients in bulk, saving valuable time and reducing manual data entry.

Who is this available for?

The AMLCC integration is available for all FYI practices in the United Kingdom on the Pro and Elite plans.

Rollout Plan:

  • Generate secure links to Form Templates

Pricing

Forms will be available at no additional cost to practices on the Elite plan, pricing details for practices on the Pro plan will be shared closer to the General release.
