Announcing our new integration with Notud
FYI now integrates with Notud, a purpose-built software designed to facilitate handwritten notes being filed to the cloud.
What does this mean for FYI users?
Your handwritten notes and drawings from your iPad, tablet or other device can easily and securely be filed in FYI. The PDF documents are filed to the client and cabinet of your choice when you “Send to FYI” from Notud.
Announcing Task Templates
We here at FYI are super excited to announce the highly anticipated release of Task Templates. A new feature that will significantly reduce the time on re-typing repetitive task instructions for team members
What does this mean for FYI users?
- Improves efficiency and accelerates standard communication for repetitive tasks across your practice
- Removes the need to manually enter task details each time and avoids confusion on who to delegate the task to and when its due
- Enhances the quality of process instructions by providing the right information required to successfully complete assigned tasks, every time
- Combined with Task Categories, such as a Priority to help users identify, action and manage high priority tasks
- There is no change to how tasks are managed, assigned tasks created from Task Templates will still appear in Tasks Lists and the Tasks Board.

December gave a wrap to our fourth year and what a year it was.
New this month within FYI…..
- Client Security we have released the ability to display clients that have “security enabled” and also the “authorised users”
- Name Multi has been made available in Jobs Lists, You can filter on this column and select multiple job names.
- We have move Salutation to the client summary page, allowing you to ensure this data is up to date at a glance
- There is increased functionality to creating jobs in FYI. You can Set Custom Fields from the job drawer when you create the job
- You can copy the entire View Link and send that to others.

Announcing ‘Prework’, get hands-on before going live!
We are pleased to announce the release of ‘Prework’, an exciting addition to our training plan for new users. Prework allows users to take knowledge from Learn courses and put it into practice, with interactive exercises and sample clients within your FYI platform.
- Provides the ability to get hands-on in your FYI platform using a set of sample clients, documents, emails, tasks and jobs before going live
- It’s perfect for new practices onboarding with FYI and new team members joining existing FYI practices
- Easily monitor user completion, to ensure your team is up and running with FYI from day 1
- Clean-up is a breeze, safely removing sample content.
We are committed to help you get the most of FYI from day one of using the system.

New this month within FYI…..
- New Lists has had an extra enhancement for Jobs. You can now run an Excel export of your lists.
- This retains all formatting including and grouping you had making your advanced reporting even easier.
- With Jobs the Client Partner or Client Manager can be used for filtering the job list
- Enhancement to Email Autofile,
- You can now Exclude Email Stationary Images.
- Admins of the firm can bulk update the Autofile mode for individual users
- Alter Document, This was an incredibly exciting release, to allow automations to alter parameter’s of documents when required. Such as adding tasks to the next user and keep the original context

New this month within FYI…..
- New Lists has continued to be released, this month it was on Tasks and Jobs.
- With tasks came the exciting announcement of a Tasks Kanban Board
- With Jobs came Grouping and Calculations
- Enhancement to the Document list, to bring back our Cabinet Explorer search.

New this month within FYI…..
- New Lists has been released to the following areas within FYI. Clients, Documents, Knowledge and Admin.
- Resize and Autosize column width
- Pin columns to the left or right
- Scroll continuously and seamlessly
- Plus many more exciting updates to your lists in FYI
- Enhancement to Email Autofile, set the autofile mode for your emails at an individual level. Take control over contacts with individual autofile on contacts.
- Create Job automation step now allows Job Custom Fields to be added when created, better yet can be copied from a trigger job

New this month within FYI….
- This month saw us release our Microsoft Teams integration as an alternative method to email when notifications are sent by FYI
- A new E-Learning course has been added in for “Accelerating your Workflow” This will help you utilise our Workflow to speed up review and approval of emails and documents
- Practice Styling has been released, FYI admins can now set Default Font and Default Font Size for your practice

New Kanban style Tasks Board
We are excited to announce our latest Kanban board, this time overlayed to your tasks. This makes it super-easy to visualise work, update task statuses and see where bottlenecks might be arising across your team and practice.
